Teaming up with Odyssey

Ok, so yesterday we had our first official run with Odyssey.

After 2 wipes, and one accidental pull, Void Reaver (1st The Eye boss) was down!

Some of the Muppets were there, and can give first hand impression. The next step is to decide whether we want to keep teaming up with them, or not. How many of us (some may not be interested) and how frequently.

I believe we have to keep 2 major points in mind -
first - This may cause some of us to stay behind, especially if someone is not interested in going at all
second - This will slow down our own progress, as we'll have less time to raid our 10-men ZA or Kara badge factory

p.s. If we do join up, I believe they'll pass on the Vent for those who insist on not having, but we'll have to abide to the DKPs, it's only fair for those who have been there before we came.

My personal note on that:

I think it was very much fun, Vent wasn't too bad, and the leaders weren't up tight or bossy or anything,
The 25-men raids have an edge of excitement and chaos that is not in the 10-men.

I admit DPKs don't appeal to me much, but it's not big deal, I'm not there for the loot (and besides, it's better for me than having to roll vs Slager "Lucky Dice" :P )

I would prefer if we keep it say one run a week, or even once every 2 weeks, so we still have time for ourselves.
If someone doesn't join, moreso!

We'll have to ask them to start earlier, and make it on time, first pull at 21:15 is way too late, and doesn't leave time for any progress.

Ok, so here's what I'm thinking.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it doesn't give you the same sense of achievement as building it up from scratch. Being realistic though, I don't see Muppets do 25 mans without help from outside, and I suppose this is a good occasion to see some more content.

A single 25 man raid a week (or every two weeks) sounds fine, but I wonder if Odyssey will be interested. After all, they'll need to fill those extra slots when we don't go, and then why would they need us ?

Regarding Vent and the DKP, I don't think it's a very big issue. I don't mind all that much hearing that druid guy tell us how the fight goes, and for those who do, we can translate into out MuppetsRaid channel. As I don't care all that much about loot, DKPs don't bother me much either.

Start hour will have to be earlier though, for the sake of those who don't want to sleep to late, and those who aren't using GMT +0.

I'll conclude by saying that the community gave me a good impression. They were pretty nice and understanding, and even when I messed up and pulled two mobs instead of one, they didn't say a thing.

We'll see how this goes from here.
