Summary:
first trial run with Codee's guild
6th is my anniversary, so count me out I'm afraid
Some comments on the raid….
Hmm… Don´t know what I feel really, the raid was so short. There was some screw-ups in there, with unintentional pulls, but that can always happen, especially when you´re in a new place and don´t know where to go and where the mobs are.
I myself had done a little reading on the strategy of the fight, so strategically that was no problem for me. I don´t know what we did wrong or what was the cause of our failure, but I do think that not everyone did what they should have done. I heard someone say that at one point there was only one single person clicking the cube. Well, that could have been a long way in the fight when a lot of us had been killed and it was chaos, I don´t know.
Most important of all: I had fun!
Also I got to se something new and learn from it. I hope to come there again soon and kill that huge bully dragon lizard goof!

I think it was short because Codee lost his patience due to failure, and probably stress from trying to get 25 people together
what went wrong in my opinion is the low dps, Channelers weren't dead fast enough, and there was one channeler still alive when Magtheridon was free. At that point I think people stopped dpsing him,
That's not really the reason, but I'll get to that. The reason we wiped is cause people didn't click the cubes, The reason people didn't click the cube was because half of them - me and Torj - were busy trying to avoid certain death when the last channeler (with 4 extra dmg buffs = very strong) was hacking at me and frankly, I had my mind elsewhere (spamming buttons and trying to make it alive) so I'd say that the cube pressing should have been otherwise, people who were tanking the first channeler who were surely free, should have been the ones pressing cubes
Anyway, I think it was a pretty good trial, with a little bit more experience and order I think we could have made a nice fight, Maggy well tanked, all channelers dead and last a couple of blasts properly.
I hope we can try again sometimes

It's hard to say that things went wrong really, since it was only our 2nd try on the channelers. It is obvious that when you learn encounters, you mess things up. The idea is to try again and do it better.
1st attempt, we learned that we must clear the whole place or trash will join the party.
2nd attempt, we learned that we must have more focused DPS.
There was no 3rd attempt, but I suspect we would have learned that we must time our cube-clickin better.
And so on…
That's the only way to beat an encounter. Even the best never manage in the first time, and we still got loads to learn before we become the best :-)
I just hope we don't give up and try it some more.

Gildhen is 100% true, that's the nature of rading, do not be spoiled brats, toughness is a plus!!!
it was persistence that made us kill attumen for the first time, it took us what? 3 weeks or so?
with a few badgerewards you're allmost overgeared for maggie,
getting a solid team is not as easy though.
